Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or constantly running on empty?
✔ Your mind won’t slow down at night, you can't focus, and your thoughts are always racing.
✔ Your teen is stuck in a cycle of big emotions, withdrawal, or self-harming behaviours.
✔ You’re chasing big goals but quietly battling negative self-talk and pressure to perform perfectly.

What types of issues do you help with? While I support folks of all ages, I work most often with teenagers (12+) and young adults who are struggling with challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, sport performance, self-harm, and relationship issues. I help folks learn to quiet their busy minds even if nothing else has worked before.

What is neurodiversity-affirming therapy?Neurodiversity-affirming therapy embraces neurodiversity, instead of focusing on changing someone, this approach celebrates unique strengths and experiences, while taking into account sensory-related needs. It’s especially helpful for people with ADHD, autism, or other neurodivergent traits, providing a supportive space to thrive.

What if therapy doesn’t seem to be helping?Therapy isn’t always a straight path, it can take time to see progress. If you ever feel like things aren’t clicking, let’s talk about it! Therapy should always be a collaborative process, we may need to adjust our treatment plan, approach, or goals. Together we can tweak our approach or explore new strategies to make sure you’re getting what you need.

What should I expect in the first therapy session? In our first session, we’ll take it slow. We’ll chat about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on. I may ask questions to best understand your current challenges, goals, and interests. I will explain confidentiality and and its limits. You don’t have to prepare anything or worry about what to say, but it's okay if you want to and feel more comfortable being prepared for your first session. Online Therapy: You will receive an SMS reminder two days before your appointment and a private zoom link one day before your appointment. We will connect online at your scheduled time. In-Person Therapy: You will receive an SMS reminder two days before and an email reminder the day before your appointment. You will arrive to 93 Ferguson St., Williamstown, VIC for your scheduled appointment time. You can enter the building through the path and side door on the left side of the building. Emma will retrieve you from the waiting room at your scheduled appointment time. By the end of the first session, you and Emma will discuss next steps, frequency of sessions that works for you, and a plan together that supports your therapy goals.

-
Can I contact you between sessions? While I’m not available for crisis support between sessions, you can reach out for additional sessions, provide me with updates, or if there's any reminders you might need in-between sessions.
